Hi Folks:

I've been enjoying Delta force 2 online for many years.
It seems to be a pretty good match for my 600MHz Pentium 3.

Now I've got an AMD 3800 X2. This isn't the hottest
machine by today's standards, but I'm hoping it will let
me try some more graphically interesting first person
shooters.

What do you folks recommend? I'm looking for something
that has a good community, with online at no additional
charge, and gets with the program. I like the capture the
flag and attack-defend DF2 missions. In fact I just like
DF2, and would like to look at some more interesting
graphics. Perhaps different uniforms for each team would
be nice.

Suggestions?

Thanks
Larry

Sorry but there's no real substitute for DF2. =) There's the latest DF game
called Joint Operations i think which was pretty fun when i tried the demo
but i never got around buying it so i can't say how the community is.

I just reinstalled DF2 after probably 2-3 years and it's still fun even
though there are a lot less players these days. But then again there's
always servers with players in them no matter which game flavour you prefer
so i must say that DF2 are still alive and kicking, well atleast moving its
toes.

Speak for yourself i started out with a pirated DF1 and never got into MP
until DF2 although i did play get to play on Fat&Hairy before it closed
down. =)
