Nah, there's just not much going on, ya know. I would have thought
there would be some chatter during the World Cup, though.
Bought CSF for the XBox. Tough game when you have to switch between
characters in the middle of the action. And can't find any walkthroughs
yet.

I am here...I finished CSF a while back...I thought it was a pretty
short game...I liked it though...Did I love it? Maybe not...the
graphics weren't as great as they should have been...
But as a game, I thought it was pretty good..

Ah no...still here although haven't checked into the group for a very long
time. I lost interest actually after Commandos 2.......gone off to the Total
War Series instead. The game just kind of went into a different direction
than what I really enjoyed.....so I still play the first and second issues
of the game. I had loads of fun with those games. Just couldn't get into the
first person shooter thing and only 3 of the original Commandos left.
But I still like you guys, really I do.... )))

For an experienced gamer with the Commandos style, the FPS genre and a bit
of luck, the game becomes too easy.

If you are going to compare it with titles like CoD 2 or MOH:PA, then yeah,
the graphics look a bit lame.
Nevertheless, it was a fun experience to play it.
Now, if Pyro could only change their policy and release a freaking game
editor!!!

Not yet. Have been in a bit of a rush these past few days, changing jobs and
all.
I am still stuck on the 2nd mission (the Submarine mission), without having
started it yet.
Surely it is a great mod and not for the faint hearted.
I am sure I will play it fully later on. It is still in my pc, anyway
> Any news about a new Commandos title?
News so far say that there will be a new Commandos title. It is unknown
where that title will be headed. Probably in FPS style yet again, like in
CSF.

I guess this year's World Cup was a bit of a let down, instead of that WOW
football you expect to see.

It is still tough in the PC game as well.

I have finished the game, but haven't played the Commandos difficulty yet
(savouring the moment when I will).
Are you still stuck somewhere?

Which one? The Rome or the Medieval series? Are you waiting for Medieval 2?
The game just kind of went into a different direction

Yeah, as it happens, probably the move to full 3d was not a good one,
especially for the commandos fans all around. Yet again, that's the...
heading of the future, I guess.
Still, the original game was pure strategy and on that they should focus on
any new game in the series.
> But I still like you guys, really I do.... )))

The Rome one for now. I still play STW too. I am waiting for Medieval 2 when
it comes out. The first Medieval game got annoying actually with all those
pop up windows. So I am hoping they get rid of that in the new version.
As for Commandos, yeah....the first person shooter just sort of lost it for
me. Commandos 2 was the best in my opinion. Good game, good graphics,
interesting missions, big maps, and challenging. Had it all for me. And
there are a couple of good missions in the first game....BEL....the one I
think I liked the best was the pre-invasion mission to take out the 4 guns.
If they had of kept the game along those lines, I would still play. But we
will see what happens with the next release. I am passing on the first
person shooter though.

Definitely. Although they must stay in touch with the latest graphical
improvements.

Yeah, I love Rome. I got Barbarian Invasion and Alexander too. But I
still love Rome, just for the legions

I loved C2 the best too. And BEL. In fact, BEL was my first love. It
was just fantastic. After that, I really liked BTCOD but not as much
as BEL. And C2 was amazing as well. Probably a tie between BEL and C2.

Well, haven't got Alexander yet. Is it a totally different game with that?

Still all the best thingies (apart from the shortcut keys... how could
they???)
