i finished Myst IV and was inspired to go back and replay the entire series, starting with Real Myst. I get to the highest level (3) on Channelwood, exit the elevator, turn left instead of going forward, follow the bridge to a room with a rather ornate door and push on it, Myst hangs. Most of the sound drops out and the cursor freezes. I must force quit to regain control.
