That is what I mean. Are you mixing this stuff together yet?

Right. Got my spritzer ... full of swamp water, flower and free bait.
Been spraying it all over the place but it doesn't seem to do anything
yet. I'm still stuck. Prosthetic Dave still has a cold even after I
spray the mixture at him and he can't smell the handkerchief to identify
it's owner.

I think you need one more thing. Doesn't Guybrush say something when you
just spray it into the air, like "This almost smells like that handkerchief,
but the handkerchief is more (something)."?

Yay ... I've negotiated the Mysts of Tyme and am now at Pegnose Pete's
house. Thanks for the hints.

OK ... stuck again and it didn't take me long to get stuck either. I
was just hoping I could figure it out if I tried everything but having
done that now I don't have a clue what to do now.
I have tracked down Ozzie Mandrill and accused him of trying to frame me
and he heads off into the forest to the booty cave. I can't track him
any further than the first screen of forest before the path gives out.
I figure it is something to do with Ozzies cane which has an
imperceptible crack in it. Ozzie is always watching the cane in his
house and Freddy the walking stick maker doesn't give me any hints as to
what I should do. I can't pick up a substandard cane because there are
"too many to choose from".
Any advice would be gratefully accepted.
Bill

So it's slightly cracked, eh? Time for a tune-up maybe? Or maybe not
quite yet, maybe it needs to see a little more wear. >> Stay informed about: Ready for the Monkeys. |

Something to do with the musical box? I've got Ozzie going to the woods
4 times in a row so I don't know how to put the cane through any more
"wear" than it is already receiving?

Have you talked to the stick shop owner about the reason Ozzie's stick
is constantly in for repair?

Yeah, that's just REGULAR wear. It'll need more than that. Maybe if
Ozzie were a tad upset about something he'd put it under a bit more stress. >> Stay informed about: Ready for the Monkeys. |

I can't beat him at insult sword fighting. But I'll try my options
again see if I can come up with anything.
Thanks for the hint.

Yes ... Ozzie keeps breaking them and Freddie just fixes up the old
stick. Ozzie doesn't seem to notice. Whatever I do I cannot interfere
with Ozzies stick in any way. I think I should be doing something at
Freddies but I've tried everything and have no ideas as to what the
problem could be.

Tried getting Ozzie to walk out to the Booty cave 5 times. He does it
each time without complaining. I think I must be missing something from
Freddie's walking stick shop. When Ozzie is gone I've tried lots of
things but nothing seems to work.

Ozzie seems to really like those stuffed animals (and who wouldn't like
a stuffed platypus?). I bet he'd get pretty angry if something happened
to one of them...

I haven't got anything to smash a platypus with. I've tried everything.
What I do have now is a wooden hand with termites infesting it which I
didn't have before your message. (The termites don't eat the platypus
like I was hoping so there must be something else I have to find.)

Destructive, aren't you? Don't think smash, think about doing something
else to it - something that might make the stuffed animal more...
unpleasant.
