I have a hypothetical question for ya'll:
Let's say you spent a few months raiding with a guild and found their
entire DKP / Loot system to be broken, to the point of being near a complete
collapse. The system was also shifting heavily towards the officers always
having more DKP than regular members, regardless of what they spent.
On top of this, due in large part to the flawed system, you have yet to
win a single item despite very large bids and regular involvement with the
guild and it's raids.
What do you do? Bail out and cut your loses? Stick it out and hope
that eventually the system will work for you, broken as it is?
It looks like finding guilds the next couple months will be very
difficult as everyone waits for BC, better to stick it out and then start
fresh next year, or start hunting for a new guild now? This assumes you
aren't the priest / druid in full tier 3 who can raid 22 hours a day 7-days
a week, which seems to be the only thing anyone is recruiting for these
days.
