Oh well, we fell into a small Ikea trap lately: buying a couple of
chairs raised the question of chair cushions. Well, we figured we buy
them at Ikea as well, and guess what: they were half the price of a
chair. Guess where Ikea made the profit :>

Yeah, they opened a store 10-15 miles north of here and have started
sending out catalogs to people with published addresses. I looked at one
when I was over at my parent's house. Some things look okay, but most
look a bit flimsy and mostly all overpriced. Plus I hear they make you do
the delivery and assembly yourself. Harumpf!

I haven't been to the one in [Frisco/McKinney?], but I bought some
stuff from them in Burbank whilst in California. Still have the
table. It's actually kinda nice/sharp.
Not bad stuff for the price, and assembling it yourself means I was
able to lug a coffee table and full size couch home in the back of me
Probe....

They've become an electronic appliances store. Rebranded, reimaged,
restocked. >> Stay informed about: No wonder Radio Shack is barely still in business! |
