At first I was getting the openGL error. Now I've fixed that and I am
having trouble making the game run. It goes through some of that
interminable stuff at the beginning but stays in the office where they
are having a meeting about the soldiers captured in the Castle. But
the game locks up on me there and I never get to the dungeon. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled the game but the lockups continue. Any
help out there?

Nobody can help you with the information you've given...

What CPU? What video card? How much RAM? What OS? What soundcard?
What version of video driver? .....you get the idea....

What CPU?---AMD Athlon XP 2400+
What video card?---NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000
How much RAM?---1 Gigabyte of RAM
What OS?---Windows XP Pro
What soundcard?---Realtekl AC'97 for VIA Audio Controller
What version of video driver?---driver date 10/29/2004, version
6.6.9.3downloaded from the Nvidia web site.

Hope this information is what is required.

Well, it seems the hardware should be capable enough. I'd suggest
reloading the video driver. If it still doesn't work, try going back a
version (or 2) on the video driver, available from the Nvidia site.

What opengl error was it ?

You might try turning off some "graphics" options to see if that causes any
problems.

Also try turning off sound or so, to see if that is the problem.

Lot's of luck to you.

( One last tip: check if you have any conflicting hardware in windows xp.
Also check the bios if you have any weird options. Maybe you have "fast
write" enabled or something like that. Try turning that off )

Bye,
Skybuck.
