Army of Two. Perfect game to tie me over until RSV2 - Picked it up on my way home from work. Just went through the training mode and finished a couple of missions. I like it. It's no COD4, GoW, RSV, nor GRAW2 for that matter, but has been an beginning thus far. I'm still getting used to the..

Let me guess, it's another FPS? I didn't even click the link but it
seems like 80% of Xbox games are FPS.

Like those games haven't been old since 1995.

Never heard of this Edge Magazine out of UK, but it gave it a 7/10.
Ouch. I'm still getting it though.

It's a sequel in terms of the storyline but it's pretty much the same
game with a different set of maps as far as gameplay is concerned.
Look at GRAW and GRAW 2 - similar deal there.

So far it's disappointing to hear what the reviews are saying. It looks the
same (the last was pretty bland) but with a couple tweaks to game play. I am
on the fence. As broken as COD4 is it still has the better graphics, frame
rate, cool power ups, a decent ranking system (not about skill but it's
still fun to rank up and unlock items and challenges as you go and most
likely a bigger community.

I just got done playing it (COD4) again and although I would kill for IW to
fix this game and get some new maps out, I don't see why I would want
Rainbow Six Vegas. Although my friend are already begging me to give it a
try because they are all getting it.

It looks like there is a chance to have offline single-player RPG like
experience of developing who you are online and off. If it does have
that kind of replayability single player (taking what was in CoD4 with
the RPG element), it looks very promising.

As opposed to what genre of games? Sports games? Driving games? RPGs?
FPS games may be old in gaming in general but most console gamers now
weren't PC gamers in the old days when PC gaming was still relevant.

Most console gamers are relatively new to the FPS scene.

It's only 5 reviews, and 3 of those didn't review the first RSV. Edge, which
gave RSV a 6, gave RSV2 a 7 and Gamemaster UK gave RSV a 8.5, and gave RSV2
an 8.4. The other three didn't rate the game on RSV. I really don't count on
reviews to guage a game (for the most part) anyway, but I do use them as a
general indicator. If the game gets an overall 8 or less, I wait for what
others say, and I am very specific to what type of games I like anyway, so I
won't purchase a game even if it gets a unamimous 10, if it isn't my style.

Man, I am just about burned out playing it anymore. One game I went 32-3 and
I know two of the guys on the other team are way better than I am and they
just couldn't kill me. Two games later, I unloaded a stun grenade on 3 guys
sniping from a room, and then lobbed two grenades in to the room, and they
weren't fazed and one of them got me from above as I ran back outside. This
game is downright broken and I wish they'd remove the patch, because it is
worse IMHO than was before the patch.

By the way, here is a scene of the new maps coming out, and one of them is
huge. The maps are supposed to come out in April.

I'm gonna wait and see. If everyone migrates from CoD4 to RSV2, then
I'll switch. But I don't see that happening right away.

I'm still on CoD every night, and still having fun.
I wish the new maps were out...that will squeeze a little bit of new
life.

Side note: I borrowed Cooking Mama (Wii) from a friend. Mostly
because there was a news story about the Wii helping stroke victims
with motor skills.

That game is crazy! Chopping carrots and swirling the frying pan
around. Pretty good workout, too.

Form once I am in complete agreement with you. RSV2 is superfluous.

LOL! "Hypocrite Deluxe" should be your name here. Most here know that I am
in no way a fanboy, but you certainly fit into that category easily. You buy
360 games while stating how shitty the system is, even asking about Dark
Sector as if you'd buy it. You sound like a person, one should really take
seriously, LOL. With the credibilty problem you foist upon yourself after
every one of your posts here , add your pure bias for the PS3 (again, while
you buy 360 games) shows who is who here. Your problem, you take selective
reading to denote people the way you want, but that is your problem.

COD4 plays better on PSN, so I assume RSV2 would also.
