Huh? Whatchu talkin bout Willis???

Walking to the next location (which are not that far apart really),
stopping to smell the roses & get caught up in side-quests & whatnot (if
you want) are aspects that make the teleporter stones meaningful & feel
like you *earned* getting them, not to mention that the continuity &
self-consistency of the world design isn't lost as a result. I have NFI
which parts of G3 you think are a grind or designed to kill time or give
you RSI...how much of the game have you played again?

I admittedly haven't played all that much--got hooked up on NWN2. Let me
withdraw that until I play it enough to either confirm/deny.

In the meantime, I got to thinking about the last CRPG I played that had
what amounted to *real* pixle hunts--as I remember, it was Wizards and
Warriors, I think.

Ross Ridge wrote the ATI patch for that reason.

Oblivion and other games requiring WinXP - So I was at the store today and saw Oblivion and Dreamfall there, two games that I'm very interested in. But as I was looking at their boxes I noticed that they both state WinXP as a requirement. In Dreamfall's case it even specified which service pack..
