For all those in the UK having trouble with the PS2 version of RE4,
this month's PSW magazine comes with a cheat disc that gives you
infinite ammo.

Be warned - the mag itself is quite awful and has loads of ads for
adult chat lines (although it does avoid the habit of most single
format mags of slagging the other consoles off).

Are you referring to January's issue? Is that infinite ammo on all weapons?
That disc had better be offered to us in North America! I shall be
thoroughly disappointed if they don't. Thanks for the heads up Tsugumi.

Seems the mag is available here in Canada. As an import. It does include the
disc. The disc is PAL and doesn't function here. Glad I got the heads up on
that before I purchased. *sigh*

It's issue 77 of PSW mag. It features "Marc Ecko's getting up" on the
cover. I assume that's the sequel to "Marc Ecko's going to bed"...

>Is that infinite ammo on all weapons?

There are three cheats on it - Infinite ammo, infinite grenades and
always first save (why? it doesn't matter how many times you save).
As far as I know the ammo one works on all weapons.

Is that a prequel to "Marc Ecko's going to the toilet" ?

Who the hell is Marc Ecko?

First I heard of him was when Edge Magazine ran an article on the game.
Seems he's some sort of style guru for American "yoofs" or at least
thinks he is (well, he had a baseball hat on at a funny angle).
The game has you fighting a totalitarian society by vandalising
buildings - I mean indulging in your art as a graffiti artist.
I can imagine the city bigwigs quaking in their boots on seeing "Shaz
is fat" scrawled on a playground wall...

No doubt chavs will flock to buy it, but I'll be avoiding it...

>Is that a prequel to "Marc Ecko's going to the toilet" ?

Possibly, I wonder if there's an infinite toilet roll cheat for it.

BTW, Something wierd is happening when I post here - it's taking nearly
a day for my postings to appear.
It's 6.55 PM now, lets see when this posting appears...

I remember something like that...
Sounds like a stupid thing for a game - but I do think 'graffiti' is an
art form. I am no good at it myself, but lately have been scribbling on
paper a fair bit and it looks quite nice!
Proper graffiti is a style that is very hard to master and is excellent
when done right.

When it's done well, yes.
I can't draw too well, I write comics and I usually end up paying more
talented people to illustrate them. It's nice seeing your ideas come to
life on the page.

I'm still puzzled by this slow posting business. I'm at work now, let's
see if this one takes longer.
it's 9.05 now.

You have a point - it is unusual. Maybe the ones you post from work don't
get sent until the end of business day. My posting only seems to take about
one minute. Quite the conundrum indeed! Not to mention the self conversation
being very entertaining.

Oh, I do that a lot. Especially when it's a full moon and God speaks to
me telling me to do his work and clean the streets of evil.

If I do well he rewards me with coloured lights and music in my head.

I said that to someone once and they actually believed me...

The postings seem to have sped up now, so perhaps it was a problem with
work's clockwork server. When you work with people who will pull a
network cable out of the wall socket "To see what it did", anything
could happen...
Not as bad as my last place though, I had to work with youths who were
taught how to use computers. As it was in a factory, they were given
safety boots - one 18 year old didn't know how to tie his laces.

I'm not sure which in all of that scares me more - you willingly professing
to god conversations, someone peeking into the end of a cable for function,
or an 18 year old who can't tie their own shoes! Hmmm ....
I'm beginning to see coloured lights of my own.

My friend is a dyslexic agnostic. He lays awake at night wondering if
there is a Dog.

I work at our local University. This monday we were doing all the
nursing registrations and had set everything up in one of the posh
suites. About 2 hours into it (this is going to be a 11 hour day for me
), one of the staff pulls the network cable that's connecting all the
machines we've set up. The Result? A three hour wait in the queue for a
lot of nurses...

I've been dealing with the fallout from that all this week.

The 18 year old taxed even my credibility. The place was training kids
for an NVQ 1 in computer technology, for those not familiar with that,
you manage to switch a computer on and you've nearly fulfulled the
criteria for passing. This course lasts three months, some of these
idiots had been there two years and still hadn't passed. What's more,
they were proud of the fact!
Most of these lunatics had been rejected by other training schemes, and
this was about the only place that would have them. I still remember
one trying to knock a supporting wall down with a hammer because he was
"bored".
He then tried to hijack the forklift truck - not a good idea as the
driver was a bloody big biker...

As for the woman who pulled the cable out of the wall, I think if I'd
said "put it back - all the numbers will fall out" she'd probably have
believed me ^_^
