Quicksand in TRA?

Stumbling through TRA, just got into the vallet where the bear appears,
killed that, now trying the bit where you jump off a plaform and slide down
a roof and then jump, missed it, Lara ended up on the floor with arms
waving, legs dissapeared under the ground, couldn't get her to move, had to
reload. Anyone else seen that?

iirc quicksand made its 1st appearance in TR3 ...annoying isn't it?
