Can I make a scroll of Quickened whatever so that I can cast it in the
same round as another spell? It doesn't seem to say I can't, but my DM
thinks it can't. What do you all think? Can I do the same with a wand
or a staff when I get those item creation feats?

THanks.

I'd allow it, but with the caveat that it takes the slot it would
normally, and the minimum caster level for that slot, and thereby the
cost, so a quickened magic missile would cost the same as a 5th lv
spell on a scroll. Of course it wouldn't do you much good unless you
already had that scroll out and ready to read.

But if your DM interprets not, he's well within the realm of a good
interpretation.

By the rules as written, no you cannot. I personally house rule that it
is allowed, but by the RAW, no.

Um... there is a precedent in "Tome and Blood", the inclusion of
Metamagic Rods, which has a Rod of Quicken Spell listed. I don't have
my books here at work (ah, but wouldn't it be wonderful if I could?),
so I'm going by memory, but I think that it could be used on three
spells cast per day, and had a L17 casterlevel attached to it. Since
any magic item can be combined with another at 1.5x it's normal cost, I
don't see why you couldn't have a "Staff of Quickened Lightning Bolts
3/day" or somesuch.

Honestly, the only spell I use Quicken for is Fox's Cunning, since it
takes up one of my sixth level slots at CL12. I need to get around to
convincing my GM to let me make the focus for Contingency though, so
that I can carry the spell around with a trigger of "When I cast the
Phantasmal Killer Spell" for over a week... >Very Happy

I don't think the rules mention it one way or another. My take on it:

No. You can't read a scroll in a moment, therefore you can't make a
quickened scroll. It just feels wrong.

I would permit items with quickened spells, though.
