As I understand it the Experience Share divides the experience points
in half, half going to the one holding the item and the other half
divided among those pokes who battled. If the one holding the item
also battles they get the half the item gives them and the portion of
the other half for battling (this can be useful for when you want to
raise some really low level poke, put it first and battle with the one
holding Exp.Share, sometimes I use all 6 pokes to get the Experience
points down low).
The EVs are not divided, all who battle and the one holding the item
get the same EVs for battling. For instance if you are battling a
Zigzagoon and you use 2 pokes they both get 1 Speed EV. If you are
battling a Zigzagoon and you use 1 poke and another one is holding
Exp.Share they both get 1 Speed EV. If you are battling a Zigzagoon
and you use 3 pokes and one of them is holding Exp.Share all three get
1 Speed EV each. I could go on.... but I am sure you get it by now.
