Quake 4 - I just got the game and I just got outside and I meet this Russian dud who said that way and so I go throw these two red doors and it say exit but I can't continue. I need to get the book on this game but I'm stuck right now. Anyone know what I should.

Does anyone know where the saved games are stored and if they can be
transferred to another machine and played?

they should be in the quake directory. Look there. can be transferred: yes.
