I have Q2 loaded on a Windows ME machine and it Locks up when I try to
join a mulitplayer internet game.
Any Ideas on how to fix it?

When it locks up, is there a little phone-plug icon in the upper right
hand corner of your screen?

The Icon on the desk top had a huge string refering to the d drive. Why
it was that way, I don't know. I removed the extra stuff and it works
fine now. Go Figure.

I really don't know how to fix it, but I too run QII on ME and it
works fine during single player and multiplayer modes. What kind of
system do you have?

I run QII on an HP 160MHz with ATI RagePro video card.
