Hey all!

I'm hitting 42 as a warrior and need to unscramble my build. I've read
the forum and note that although PvE is given lip service, most builds
gravitate toward and are commented from a PvP Standpoint.

Please, I want to cause some solo damage and start to migrate over to
being a better tank, which I suspect means Arms/Protection for more
levels and then over to Protection/Arms for later?

I'm thinking:

Arms Talents - 31 points

# Deflection - rank 5/5
# Improved Rend - rank 3/3
# Improved Charge - rank 2/2
# Tactical Mastery - rank 5/5
# Improved Overpower - rank 2/2
# Anger Management - rank 1/1
# Deep Wounds - rank 3/3
# Impale - rank 2/2
# Axe Specialization - rank 5/5
# Sweeping Strikes - rank 1/1
# Improved Hamstring - rank 1/3
# Mortal Strike - rank 1/1

Protection Talents - 20 points

# Shield Specialization - rank 5/5
# Improved Bloodrage - rank 2/2
# Toughness - rank 5/5
# Last Stand - rank 1/1
# Improved Shield Block - rank 1/3
# Improved Revenge - rank 1/3
# Defiance - rank 5/5

as being what to aim for, perhaps rerolling points and going all the way
up to MS in Arms (and that would get me to where my character is now,
level-wise) and then over to Protection as I move up to 60, making
changes as needed.

On the other hand, it seems to me Toughness and Shield Specialization,
along with Tactical Mastery, is something to get to asap at my level.

Any help with PvE in mind is greatly appreciated.

Yutang

Id go fury for solo grinding myself. Ive never been impressed with
protection tree at all.
If eq isnt too good, an MS build is more forgiving, all you need is a slow 2
hander and away you go.

For later tanking, well i stopped playing my warrior at 60 so not too much
experience, but guildmates assure me they can tank fine with an arms spec,
which lets them continue to solo and pvp.
