I have both and they are very different. CT ART 3.0 focuses on
specific kinds of tactics, so you can practice on the ones where the
program shows that you have weaknesses.
Personal... teaches by repetition, so there is no specific choice of
specific tactics. If you are already an experienced player, it will
take quite a while to get to tactics that match your abilities,
because the program begins with mates in ones and it takes hundreds of
exercises before you reach mates in two. However you don<t have to
begin at the beginning, you can begin anywhere at the risk of missing
something. You may be surprised to see how many elementary tactics
yo9u have never noticed before...
Both programs have demos, and if you are hesitating, I recommend
trying the demos. Otherwise buy them both.
