Prot Warrior Solo Gear Fast Dual Weild vs Big Womper

So far my mostly prot spec warrior (had to get rage management) likes
using fast dual weilding swords when he's not being a shield wall. He
only has to swap the shield for a sword and he's good to go. Would a
single large weapon be better for solo? And why? I'm assuming the big
womper would be optimized for slow speed big damage, where the dual
wields are optimized for fast speed and reasonable damage.

How deep do you go in prot tree ?

If you have the 1H spec, dual is definitively better.

Or, you can be very efficient with the 1H+shield combo, if tou have enough
block value and use shield slam.
