I have compiled such a list for my collection purposes. It was based
on player's contributions to this newsgroup, on The Lasombra's list
and on my own observations. I just checked it against The Lasombra's
website and noticed that my list is more complete right now (Jeffrey,
if this is useful somehow, please feel free to use it).
Every difference I list is confirmed by comparing the actual cards,
but there might exist differences I haven't noticed.
Kestrelle Hayes:
- No set symbol.
- Promo has wrong grouping number (4, instead of 5).
- Back is printed "upside-down" (printed with 3rd Edition print run).
Duality and White Lilly:
- No set symbol.
- Back is printed "upside-up" (printed before 3rd Edition print run).
Echo:
- Promo is copyrighted 2004 (regular version is 2005).
- Promo is a bit lighter than regular version.
- There is a little line instead of a point in the "I" in the
illustrator's name (Rik Martin).
Young-Sun, Harmonist:
- No set symbol.
- Post-Camarilla Edition layout
Jessica Adv and Hannibal Adv:
- No set symbol.
Xaviar:
- Published in 2002 (regular version in 2003).
- Green sidebar extends to the top (Camarilla Edition layout).
- The Gangrel symbol is taller than in regular version.
Marcus Vitel:
- Card is darker and glossier (regular version has matte surface).
Fatima al-Faqadi:
- Bigger set symbol.
- Game text says "cannot commit diablerie". Non-promo text says "blood
cursed".
Hesha Ruhadze:
- Bigger set symbol.
Lucita:
- Only two lines of game text.
- Different font.
- Card is slightly taller.
Selena and Sascha Vykos, The Angel of Caine:
- No difference noticed between the promo and the regular version.
Abraço,
Luiz Mello
