In FS 2004 the SDK included some documentation on how to interface with the
multiplayer system. However, I am not finding any such documentation in the
FSX SDK including SP1A. Can someone shed light on where I can find
documentation on this? Or how do I interface with the FSX multiplayer?

You just need to click the 'MulitPlayer" tab on the main FSX menu, create a
'Gamespy' account, and join or host a session.

Thanks for the response. I should have been a bit more clear. I want to
interact with the multiplayer via C/C++ interfaces. In FS 2004, I was able
to connect to the FS multiplayer via DirectPlay I believe.

FSX uses SimConnect not DirectPlay. It should be in the SDK.

I have no idea what a C++ interface is, but FA Host also allows you to
connect without going through Gamespy, which is what I used in FS9
