I am just getting into the sims having never tried it before. I have a 4
disk Sims Double Deluxe, I have a Home XP Version Computer. We can get it
loaded and Registered OK. But when it comes to pressing play we get a dialog
box for the error report to Microsoft. and it sometimes crashes. The Program
file in My Computer says unknown file type. Can anyone help? Do we really
need to disable the Alti-virus and Crash Guard like it states in the
installation manual?
Hope someone knows.
Michelle

I agree... Crash Guard will cause more crashes than it attempts to save. I
don't know how it has lasted as long as it has considering how buggy it is.
