I had the same problem, you have to remove omega drivers, try it!

need for speed most wanted on nintendo DS - I don´t know how to unlock new tracks and /or cars. I have tried everything. I have completed the 3 first tracks, and the game puts an X on the track like its completed, yet I can´t go on.
