Just come back to playing OFP Resistance after months away but having a
problem with sound.
Its OK playing single mission or campaign but in multiplayer the sound
becomes so distorted its driving me nuts.
I don't remember it being this bad in the past although it would do it
occasionally
Any one got any ideas what causing it?

TIA

Complete stab in the dark, but the only thing that occurs to me is your
mic. Is it on? I've noticed that for some bizarro reason my mic can
sometimes play up but only in multiplayer mode. Might be worth setting it
to Mute and firing the game up again, see if that fixes it.

Unlikely, but as I say, complete stab in the dark.

Thanks H, tried it but still the sound goes berserk - thought you had
the answer for the first 5 to 10 minutes but as soon as the "enemy"
opened fire, sound just lost the plot. But thanks for trying.

Hey no problem, sorry it didn't work out.

Okay, question: Are you using onboard sound or a seperate card? Reason I
ask is I know in our clan the people with onboard sound get more issues
that those with seperate cards.

(NB: I personally rarely get any issues, I just know some do.)

H.

I'm using a seperate sound card - the weird bit is that the campaign and
missions that come with the game are fine - its just when I go
multiplayer - odd
