I realize there aren't too many out there but does anyone have any idea
what might be current market value for these? Thanks! Smile

Hey Rob-

>From what I have realized, old black and white stuff is cheap, unless
it's Space Invaders or something big.

I got a fully working Subs for $305 not too long ago. Usually, I have
gotten deals where I've gotten small bulk deals for $100. Non-working
ones for as low as $20.

I went to KLOV to check it out and there isn't a picture, you should
send a few in.

-Tim

Hi Tim - yep, and after doing a little research, it looks like the
KLOV/VAPS link is in error. I contacted the one owner listed and he
has an entirely different game (Bally Road Runner) which is a driving
game.

The KLOV entry should have two listings for Road Runner (Bally and
Midway). So I guess it looks like I have the only one "officially
listed" in KLOV/VAPS for a Midway Road Runner.

I sent pics in but I don't know how long it takes for them to show up.

It's actually a pretty cool/fun game. Given it's age, this must've
been on the "bleeding edge" back in '77. Smile

I bought one about a year ago for $100, complete and in very nice
cosmetic condition but with garbage on the screen. Cost me about $80
to have the boards rebuilt and after replacing the t-molding, I had a
really nice game, although I never could get the gun aligned correctly.
A nice working Road Runner has shown up on Ebay a few times with a Buy
it Now price of $650 but, as far as I know, it never did sell. But I
haven't noticed it in awhile. As you're probably aware, there aren't
too many Road Runners around because the name was changed to Desert Gun
shortly after production started...the games are identical. I've heard
two different stories for that...1) the name was changed when Midway
merged with Bally who already had a game by the same title and 2) it
was done to avoid legal problems and a lawsuit with Warner Bros who had
the cartoon out.
