I bought one about a year ago for $100, complete and in very nice
cosmetic condition but with garbage on the screen. Cost me about $80
to have the boards rebuilt and after replacing the t-molding, I had a
really nice game, although I never could get the gun aligned correctly.
A nice working Road Runner has shown up on Ebay a few times with a Buy
it Now price of $650 but, as far as I know, it never did sell. But I
haven't noticed it in awhile. As you're probably aware, there aren't
too many Road Runners around because the name was changed to Desert Gun
shortly after production started...the games are identical. I've heard
two different stories for that...1) the name was changed when Midway
merged with Bally who already had a game by the same title and 2) it
was done to avoid legal problems and a lawsuit with Warner Bros who had
the cartoon out.
