On my third try, I´ve managed to get 2 levels below the first (depth
2)and after wiping every critter, I cant find any stairs or a way
down. I even thought that it was hidden, so I just hanged around an
hour levelling my character until he managed to learn "magic map",
even then, on any way down at all.
I really levelled up a lot and managed to get a lot of spells, and
would hate to lose it all and start again if this is a bug.
Another interesting bug is when a cockatrice bit me and I saw the
letters "hardening" appear, I used Posses on the cockatrice, then as
the cockatrice I saw my pc turn to statue, so I added it to my
inventory, the after I died as the ccokatrice I spawned back to where
my body had been before turning into a statue, but was invisible (and
so were all critters)
After going up stairs my body reappeared.
Worked the next 2 time I faced a cockatrice. |

This is very worrying. There should be a down stairs. If you have
it, please send me your save game (POWDER.SAV) along with your
platform & version number. I have added a verification that the
stairs are built to my stress test and a quick run of 18,000 levels
doesn't trigger, so hopefully it is really rare bug.
If you found a wand of digging or the spell dig you can dig downwards
to fall into the next level. A wand of create trap could be used many
times to try and get a hole trap.

I found this bug when I expanded the stress test to include all
spells. I have it fixed for the next version, thank you for reporting
it.
I strongly recommend you *not* take advantage of this as it will
corrupt memory and bad things may happen to your game.

On the steps, found them, I had to search every wall some 4 times, not
a bug after all.
Another interesting aspect of the posses bug, I made a backup of a
gamesave before facing it to see what would happen if I saved a game,
it seems that my adventurer is cloned when I load the game, which made
for a very interesting situation as whenever a monster hit him, I lost
health.
Great game, I´ve got FFXII Revenant Wings and Rune Factory unopened

Excellent news! You had me worried there.
Searching doesn't always reveal the wall right away, so keep
searching. If you look at the minimap you can often get some idea
where the hidden door is likely to be.

Yep, I can believe it. You end up having multiple copies of yourself
in the game - the you on the map and the you in the statue.
