Hello,

If anyone is currently involved in a D&D campaign, long or short,
or even a module, I think it would be a good idea if you'd post
some highlights, or perhaps a continuing synopsis of the story
and action. This could also be an opportunity for anyone who'd
like some input prior to the next play session.

So, if anyone is willing and able...let's hear about it!

- Eric

Love to oblige, but we've had two failed attempts to get together for
our third "Old World" session this week. So, nothing to report. Sad

Catching up on my reading, though...

Ah, well, such things happen. Even the best of adventures I've been
involved in saw some delays. Looks like the time will be to your benefit!

Some time ago in a German rpg-group they regularly posted their
funny moments of recent sessions (not the whole session, just
enough context to get the idea of the fun of it, a la Vecna's head).
While the quality varied, the majority at least produced a smile
for having experienced similar, recalling own memories.
Maybe this can be established here, too, under a stable "subject".

Yeah, good idea to post links like that, to save bandwidth
(or is that an obsolete consideration nowadays?).

Thanks!

I used to do this, but while at first the others in the groups were
supportive, they've come to realize they did not want strangers to
analyze their game. Then, of course, in a few cases there were
meta-game "issues" that just made things worse. I've decided not to go
down that avenue again.

This better?
Old habits die hard. Used to responding with references following.
Sometimes the threads get a little lengthy, you know, especially when
weeding out some of the excess %*$!

But point taken and I will do my best to post at the bottom henceforth.

I think in the days of broadband this and that no one even thinks about
bandwidth usage or that not everyone has the same system they do. Case in
point, my mother-in-law has the current state of the art laptop with
satellite blah blah Pentium 4 100Gb Hard drive blah blah blah.

She was shocked to learn that I'm making do quite well on a Pentium 2 with 2
harddrives totalling 10Gb, using dial-up. I just don't save everything I
see. Those who have virtually limitless supply don't see the need to
conserve.

As for posting campaign activities, not a bad idea. I'll start work on the
page, though it will take a few days.

My Clr/Sor 3/2 named Tatzelbart Honigschopf (yes, a gnome)
recently convinced a groundhog to help him dig a small tunnel
into a Hillgiant's cave to loot his treasure.

Had nothing to do with the current adventure, but twas a nice
scene somehow.
