I have the Windows XP firewall and I also have PC Inllin security
software. PC-inlin has its own firewall. I turned off the firewalls
and I was able to host a game.

How do I portforward? Is there a step by step instruction that
explains how to do this? The few web pages I read made me dizzy trying
to figure portforwarding out.

I've still never gotten around to doing it myself, but you might check
out this site: http://portforward.com/routers.htm

First, turn off the Windows XP firewall. You don't need two and the built
in one sucks.

I've never used PC Inllin but assuming it works similar to all the other
ones that I have tried; after the XP firewall is off, when PC Inllin asks
for permission for NWN to access the internet just answer YES. That should
allow you to do what you want to do.
