Playstation Store Question

Playstation 3 - Our 3 works in all areas except reading discs. It cannot recognise any disc, game, DVD Blu Ray. Can anyone help? We purchased in USA and live in Sydney so cannot get it serviced here.

I love my playstation BUT - This is one of my 6 systems that i truly grew up with and love so much. But i have been playing it less and less after my Nintendo Wii. I still use it every week as a dvd player though. Am i the only one?

Just got on-line with my PS3. Can you download demos off the Playstation
store? I've tried to click on the Demo icons with the x button but
nothing happens. Help!

Yeah, that is all you have to do. It is probably installing in the
background and you just don't know.
