Archived from groups: alt>games>starwarsgalaxies (more info?)

Been motoring around Tatooine with my nub lvl 15 Jedi, and I've been in many
buildings that I take to be player shops (lots of the same sort of stuff on
display) but I can't see any way of interacting with them.

Also, when interacting with a bazaar terminal, I can't see a way to filter
the level of the items displayed. I'm getting cranky at having to look at
details for every item just to see if I can even use it or not. Bazaars and
auction houses, as well as vendors in other games I have played allow you to
filter some attributes (level, race or class restriction etc.) or in some
cases show the item's icon as red or greyed out if you can't use it.

I wonder if there is a game guide available online? I have tried Allakazam,
but most of the forum posts are pre-2006 (yes, yes, I know all about the
great exodus when SWG was "dumbed down").

TIA

YOu have to click on a vendor to get an interaction window. From There, you
can buy items or offer items to the vendor to purchase from you. FOr a
vendor, you can always just select "ALL" in the left pane to see everything
they have to offer. However, if you know what you are looking for, there is
an imput box below thew categroy list that you can type your search string
in and then click "refresh".

As far as finding thingsw on the bazaar....the best thing to do is FIRST
select "Vendor Search" at the top of the bazaar window. This will change
your search from the bazaar only listings, to a listing of everything that
is offered on Registered Vendors that have Search Enabled by their owner.
THEN, you can select either a specific category and highlight a particular
item....or better yet, type4 your search string in the slot below the
categoties. If you are looking for a house deed, you can type "house",
"small", "Tatooine" and get a listing for everything that matches up. Make
it as wide-range or as specific as you like. I always start specific and
then widen the range as needed to get hits. If you need anything, feel free
to send an in-game mail to radiant.felerof.
