This is what I know:
In Halls of Vaught it is easily determined which leg Nilly is hiding.
The stairs in the two upper halls are always in one of three locations,
NE, S, or West
Now coming from Pindle's area once I get down first set of staris, is
there a way to determine right away where the stairs to the Halls of
Pain are?
At this point I run NE and if there then OK if not then I head south
and if htere then okay if not then they are west.
In halls of Pain, once you walk down the stairs is there a way to
determine at which location the stairs down are?
In this place I head south. If I see the waypoint then I head west. If
no waypoint then it is easily determine if they are south or NE.
Is there a quicker way?

There is an astoundingly easy way, but it requires giving up Pindle. My
key runner has the WP in the HOP. For there, there are ONLY three
directions to go, and you can spot them instantly. I can make it form
the HoP WP to the SC down in uner 6 seconds every time.

Yes that is an easy trip. My zon would trudge to Nilly from the WP and
make it there rather quick.
Being as this is a necro that I have running Nilly I am not going to
give up Pindle at least not at this point.
There were a few times where I had the other PC available so I loaded
in my sorc who has the WP and hopped the necro to that area and the
trip was much quicker. Then when I was right outside Nilly's room I
TPed the sorc to that close location so that I could get a "no drop" at
players 2.
Well maybe someone has the route exact from Pindle. That would ease
things considering it took me 108 Nilly runs to get 3 D Keys on the
East. Of course the first Countess run after that netted me a T key.
Counter that with my Zon on the west ran Arcane over the last 3 days to
get some Hate keys for UWW runs and in 20 runs I got 3 Hate Keys.
I would rather have had it the other way around - 20 Nilly runs and 108
Arcane runs. My zon travels through there at the speed of light(ning).

Start game with Char who has NOT killed Nilly so portal is available.
Then imediately drop and re-enter game with the Nilly killer who has HOP
WP.(you have about 60 seconds) Now wack Pindle and Nilly.

This one I've missed. I usually end up clearing out the entire place to
find him. What's the pattern?

Very simple:
You will note that there is an aqua blue paint on some of the walls. A
wall thath has that paint facing down the path and ALSO on the first
few feet of the path itself is the right one.

Look at the pictures on the Walls, the grey one with the red dots which
looks a bit like a face. After a few runs you should see a pattern
emerging.

Thanks. I've stared at those faces so many times, but I guess the
pattern never quite clicked in my head. At least now I can skip 75% of
the poison snakes now.
