I was just thinking about the Pets ex pack. If it's like Unleashed I'm
not really interested, too much bother and not enough time. Especially
if the strays will make their return!

But if the pets are going to be part of the family that would mean they
could die. Wouldn't it be cool if you could resurrect them; zombie cats
and dogs!!! Or if they also become ghosts (thinks Hound of the
Baskervilles). Or vampire and alien pets, lol.

I will probably end up buying it, for the objects and new building
options, even if I will hardly do anything with the pets.

I was not a big fan of Unleashed. I never had a pet join a family. I tried
to snare a few of the strays, but they never built up enough relationships
to join. I hope they make it easier. In the real world, you feed a stray,
and you can't get rid of it! And why should dogs be so difficult? A cat,
yes, but dogs fall all over themselves for a little attention. And you
couldn't do much with them in the game either. I like the idea of them
dying too. I could make my own version of Stephen King's Pet Cemetery!

Heh, me too. (Though I've gotten a lot of use out of the cell phones, too)

It's a great environment for romance and popularity sims though, to get
their 20 best friends, or simultaneous lovers or whatever it is they want.
It doesn't take all that much time to get them adequate grades, even without
cheats and hacks, and leaves the rest for the social side.

That is a bit odd - here in Manchester, they don't do that. I agree with
you, one of the points about going to a foreign uni is to meet people from
different cultures. Generally, that's good for all of us.

Best wishes

I agree, we all thought it was weird, first year we thought it had
something to do with the fact there weren't enough rooms (we only were
there the second semester of every year), but half of our class was
there in the first semester, those rooms were free when they left.

It could be only the university of Wolverhampton that is doing that, we
just thought it was a missed opportunity.

No. Livin' Large was the best expansion pack for Sims1, at least in my
opinion. Don't forget, Guardian, you came late to the party--LOL! Do you
even *remember* plain Vanilla Sims with NO LOVEBED?

I remember it but I never used it. I also remember the small and almost useless
neighbourhood of the original game. Unleashed was the best expack, it brought
not only pets but also a much better and bigger neighbourhood to the game.

It's also a great source of potential mates for generation games.
