wow, what a great game. I have noticed that some people say tribes is dead. Well, this couldn't be farther from the truth. There is still a viable community of players with new connectors everyday. With the shutting down of the master server by Dynamix, the players have come together to host their own. Those running pledged to keep it up for years to come.

Of course Tribes I is not dead (DOH!). It is very much alive and well. I host the Cybertron server running the Annihilation 3.0b mod and it's almost always full of players. Annihilation is a great T1 mod, right up there with the Renegades mod, and has loads of class and weapon types to choose from.
