Are you playing it via emulation? If so, I wonder if that part of the
game suffers from that weird thing that makes some games(like X-Men 2,
etc) always come up with the same data when emulated, where it would
normally randomize on an actual system.

No, I burned it to two CDs. Whatever you choose, it comes up Capricorn.
Isn't the game called Smoke and Mirrors? Every single minigame is just a
joke.
