Parkan 2, any news???

I was just wondering if anybody has any news about this game being
released in U.S. How can I get a copy of it? Sounds like my kinda game,
if I could only get my hands on it
I did do a little research about this but nothing popped up. From the
looks of it, I think I'll go back to iwar2 and try some of them mods...
I did try X3 but i'll wait for a couple of more patches before I'll
play it again

I can find absolutely nothing new on the English version. It was supposed
to be out in Dec 05...at least that was the word last May when 1C published
the Russian version. Nikita's English-language Parkan II website is
essentially dead. From the Russian forums (as well as the few posts in the
English forums) the game got mixed reviews from fans of the original. There
were complaints about negative game changes (from the original) and about
innumerable bugs and the length of time it took to get out a patch to
fix.....only some of them. If we ever see Parkan II, it will hopefully be
pretty much bug-free, as the Russian purchasers got to act as "beta
testers."
