Post subject: PSP update failed, PSP won't power up.
Archived from groups: rec>games>video>sony (more info?)

A friend of my son was doing an update of his PSP system. I don't have too
many of the details, but apparently he didn't plug it in to AC power and
partly through the process the battery died.

Now when he turns it on the power light comes on for a few seconds then goes
out. Nothing appears on the display.

Any suggestions on how to correct this, or is it a "contact Sony" issue?
I've done some internet searching, but haven't found too much on this.

Thanks.
