The PS3 official launch news doesn't bother me. So, the schedule
slipped to Holiday 2006. That happens in the game industry, no big news
there. It sounds like there were manufacturing difficulties with the
RSX that took a couple more months to resolve than planned. That
happens.

Sony said they were not concerned with the xflop three-shitty launch
and sales. At the rate xflop three-shitty sales are going, there is no
overwhelming install base to deal with by the holiday season. The next
several months are not big sales months for hardware. There are very
few xflop three-shitty titles from April until September. It looks like
Sony might have been able to pull a rushed, limited PS3 launch in Japan
before the end of June but that would have been a mess all around. This
is a much more rational plan to have a world-wide launch with plenty of
launch units to be an overwhelming force.

The real indicator now is E3. xflop three-shitty is all spent at this
point, nothing new to present, no real compelling unique titles, a lot
of hardware failures to deal with, declining interest. If there are
frame rate drop things going on with the titles in development and
there is a significant contrast in graphics quality, then that is going
to be the end for the xflop three-shitty.

That nervous twitch made double click the mouse, didnt it Blig.

Personally, i think we still havent heard all there is to hear about
ps3.

And the only reason there's nothing left for 360 to say is because its
already out. DUH.

>From what i've read, this is only about the HDMI spec 1.3. They wanted
to include it because its the next step in HD technology obviously.
However, its going to cause some problems for people that have lower
spec recievers and TV's. How much trouble is yet to be seen, but there
are rumblings out there about it.
