Yep. Hideo announces a 360 Exclusive title as his next project!

So secret, they were doing it in the paper and pen storyboard PS3 dev
kit.

FINALLY Sony gets Ninja Gaiden in some form. I guess it will replace
Shinobi as a relatively decent ninja game for Sony's console.

Ridge Racer! It's Ridge Racer! And also real-time launch title game
change! Yes, in a blink of an eye, all traces of Killzone are removed
and replaced with Resistance!

I'm impressed, Blig actually made a rational, coherent post. Ok, sure,
it's OT for the Xbox group, but it's nice to see something from him
that's not ranting and raving.
BTW Xbox Live has the following TGS content so far:
Tenchu Senran Trailer (63.2 MB)
Half Life Ep. 2 Trailer (95.40 MB)
Aragorn's Journey Map Pack 1 (7.65 MB)
Northern Badlands - Map Pack 2 (10.36 MB) 350 Microsoft Points
TGS/X06 Picture Pack (156 KB)

Because it's not the real bilgemerk. The real bilgemerk is curled up in a
corner somewhere waiting for at least one piece of good news about the PoS3. >> Stay informed about: New PS3 announcements from Japan |

Yeah, i missed Shinobi. I had it for my Sega Master System. Good to see
Sony get some Ninja loving.

LOL. Someone should make a website dedicated to all the ways you could
make fun of that.
You know, i dont think the guy meant to say 'real-time weapon change',
i honestly think he meant to say 'real-time character change'. Because
i think changing characters on the fly is alot more 'revolutionary'
than weapon changing. Honestly, weapon changing has been around since
Castle Wolfenstein at least.
I wonder if that guy has commited suicide yet?

I dunno. In FPSes, weapons have maybe two or three animations.
In 3D third person melee games like Genji, I honestly can't think of a
current game where you don't have to go into a pause menu (thus hiding
animation load times) to change weapons. I snarked too, but when I read
the explanation of the phrase (probably on GAF), it made sense to me.

Does Fable not count? Or Enclave? I must not understand what you're
trying to say.

Haven't played Fable or Enclave. But from their FAQs at Gamefaqs,
I don't think this is what I was talking about. What I meant was in, say,
Ninja Gaiden, you wield a regular sword, or a huge sword, or a war hammer,
or a staff, or nunchucks, but only one of those at a time, and each weapon
has a large distinct set of animations. I think Genji's the same way.
If in Enclave or Fable, you can switch weapons real-time and instantly get
a large number of animations unique to that weapon*, then yes, that would
be what I mean.
* Even in Ninja Gaiden, you can switch real-time to the bow, but that only
has the one animation, unlike the melee weapons.

Ratchet & Clank allows you cycle through a (small) selection of weapons
with just the tap of a button. If you hold down the button, the game will
pause while the full menu comes up. However for most situations, just
cycling through your favorite 3 is good enough. >> Stay informed about: New PS3 announcements from Japan |
