PS2 games "like" Champions of Norrath"

Hello everybody

My kids (and I,admittedly) really like the PS2 games Champions of
Norrath (1 & 2) and, to a lesser extent,Baldurs Gate (1 &2).

Can anybody suggest other simular, good qulaity PS2 titles - or do I
have to wait for the PS3 & an everquest/champs of norrath/baldurs
gate/neverwinter nights type clone?

give a try to X-Men Legends, and X-Men Legends II. both have the similar
action/rpg gameplay. the only difference is these are based on comic book
characters rather than fantasy novel type subjects. both are highly
superior to the Norrath/Baldur's Gate games as well, due to the fact that
you have many different characters, and have 4 on a team at once, with the
ability to switch out team members throughout the game. gives much more
variety and replay value.
