Post subject: PS2 Outsells xflop 3-shitty *AGAIN* in August, XFLop approaches ZERO

The PS2 has now outsold the xflop 3-shitty 8 out of 9 months since its
miserable launch. Of course, the fantasy of an unsuccessful PS3 launch
is so much more preferable than the ugly reality of a proven failing
xflop 3-shitty showing signs of the Dreamcast Effect and the working
reliability of an HIV infected crack ho. Despite so-called "system
sellers" like Dead Rising and Saint's Row, xflop 3-shitty sales
*declined* from July to August and that is with some xflop fanbitches
buying their 2nd and 3rd units after the previous ones broke and with
panic discount "fire sales" here and there. Even with one major xflop
3-shitty manufacturer cutting back on production, there are reports
that warehouses are being filled with unsold xflop 3-shitty units now
(it is Micro$haft that uses "shipped" numbers rather than "sell
through" numbers). Don't try using the "PS2 is a lot less expensive
than the xflop 3-shitty excuse", the Gamecube is even cheaper and its
sales are declining. It looks like DS is starting to hit saturation as
well. The XFLop sales go to zero very soon now, making it officially
dead, taking a year more than expected but dying just the same.
August 2006:
1. Nintendo DS - 278,000
2. PlayStation2 - 262,000
3. Xbox 360 - 204,000
4. GBA - 156,000
5. PSP - 146,000
6. GameCube - 41,000

Do you recognize that a) this statement is actually quite impossible, and b)
you said the exact same thing about the Xbox at launch? If the answer is no,
it really illustrates the depth of your mental illness.
You know, if you started seeing a shrink, took your meds and found something
meaningful in your life besides your hatred for a video game console, maybe
your situation would improve. Just a thought.
BTW, can you please link to some of these Xbox 360 "fire sales"? I want to
pick up one up for my parents so we can video chat on Live when the camera
comes out this month. Thanks.

My apologies Blig. I thought by XFLop you meant the Xbox 360. I sometimes
get confused by your pet names that refer to sports leagues no one
remembers. You're right, the Xbox sales will eventually go to zero, as did
the sales of PlayStation and Nintendo 64 and every other console that
eventually ceased manufacturing. Congratulations on your astuteness.
It's also good that you now make the distinction between the console being
"officially" dead, as opposed to "in Bligmerk's imagination" dead. That's
showing real progress.

I think this is actually part of Sony's plan to ride the waves of ps2
sales until 2008 when the ps3 might actually start selling (when it can
be afforded) they might well have a chance that way. The only probelm is
trying to keep publishers interested in it until then whilst 360/Wii
sales rise.
The GBA outselling the PSP clearly shows how the general public has
absolutely no idea about console specs (backwards compatibility with the
ds) and just follows trends - with this in mind we can pretty much
predict that the wii will be huge and the ps3 will tank initially partly
due to bad publicity and partly due to due to poor shipping numbers).
They will still outsell the entire X360 ownership in japan in the first

204,000 sold in August alone? That's pretty impressive. That's more than
half of what Sony plans to have available continent-wide in November.
Kudos on Microsoft's success. We know it won't beat the DS, but it's
doing pretty well.
In related news, the 32-bit (with Super NES graphics mind you) outsold
the PSP as did the DS. Together Nintendo DS and GBA sold more than twice
what the very powerful but unbelievably boring PSP did. Kudos to Nintendo.

By not having a PS2, you do miss out on some real good titles. God of
War is one. Ratchet and Clank series is excellent, and there the likes
of R-Type Final and some obscure and quirky titles you have missed.
