Archived from groups: alt>games>tombraider (more info?)

I have always used the keyboard and mouse for gaming, but it is not giving
me the kind of control that TR Legends seems to require. I have two
questions, first: Is there a site that shows all of the keyboard/mouse
commands for this game? second: I have carpal tunnel and tendonitis that
make it difficult to use my left hand for things like moving Lara around.
Does anyone know of a PC compatible gamepad that allows you to shift the
movement controller to the right hand and the camera/look function to the
left? I have one gamepad, but it does not allow that particular function to
be reconfigured.

Thanks for any help,
Myli

I'm still waiting for Stella's site (www.tombraiders.net) to come out
with it.

Any Logitech gamepad does the trick. I use Dual Action, but you can
also opt for a more expensive Rumblepad with (with Force Feedback).

Yeah, it depends on the driver. So unless you don't wanna write your
own driver, there ARE restrictions. Logitech provides an easy-to-use
graphic interface, where you can easily swap the functions of left and
right stick. AFAIK, e.g. Genius gamepad don't have such ability.

The information was posted in this group by Tara on April 2nd.
Not on my server any more but you can Google it.

I bought (specially for TRL) a Saitek dual analogue. It helps in some
circumstances but not all so I switch between gamepad and keyboard according
to what I want to do. I haven't tried swapping over the joystick functions
but the device claims to be fully programmable so it ought to be possible.

I was about to say that any gamepad should be able to do it, it's more of a
software thing. Like, the game needs to be able to do it.
BUT, I guess not...(I'm completely new to gamepads Wink ).

So I don't really know why I posted this. Huh.
