I'm running a 2GHz dell dual-core server with 2gb of ram. Everything
seems to run smoothly except Cruisn USA and those newest games. And I
am running .96 binary and romset, so chances are I am missing out on
some improvements. Can anyone tell me if its worth doing the upgrade
and what impact it has on the more current games? It looks like the
CHD files are gone from the latest mame32 binary. What did I
overlook?
I am running the Maximus Arcade frontend, the Daphinie set for laser
disc games, Mame32 .96, and for Dragons Lair/Space Ace/DL2 I bought
the 10 anniversary CD.
The graphics card is the ati all in wonder 9800 pro, since I want to
make the dual core server be the DVR server and mP3 server for the
house, since it sits idle 90% of the day.
