Any PC Football Manager Game with obeying AI

I am looking for a PC Football Manager Game (e.g. FIFA Manager 07) but
with an AI that obeys my instructions.

I am not after realism. If I place all 10 players in the left back
position I want them to stay at that position (Premier97 did that).
>From the demos that I've seen so far, the recent games do not respect
such instructions. When the players line up (3D) on the field they
all go to their natural positions rather than the one they're assigned
to.

Do you know any recent games that fit this description?
