Hi Jonathan, I'm an American, and my PBM szine is published in the US, of
course, though I actively encourage Brit subbers. BUT, I can probably
give you the best answer of any regular poster to this list I know.

First off, you should join the Yahoo Group ukpbm, which has 67 members and
most of the people still running/interested in PBM in the UK these days
(I am one of the few non-UK members of the group).

Keith Thomasson has the biggest and most active PBM szine in the UK I know
of, he doesn't play much Diplomacy though, he is the leader in "all those
other games". Toby Harris and Alex Richardson still publish their little
Dip szines. Variable Pig is still publishing, I think, although lead
editor Jim Reader is in Japan these days so I think Richard Smith is
the one to contact in the UK.

And as long as we mentioned Japan, Brendan Whyte is going strong even
though he's in Israel these days. I love his "travelogues".

And Mike Dean still does Psychopath at www.psychozine.co.uk and though
it is a webszine, Mike tries to run it kinda like PBM.

Does that click any buttons or ring any bells??

But the short answer is yes....

PS Web site for mine is:

Sorry, Joakim, I forgot that you were around r.g.d too. Yes, Joakim's
answer is far better than mine. I left Greatest Hits out since it
really isn't much of a gaming szine at all, let alone Diplomacy.
Instead it promotes the "evil alternative" of poker..... I've
subbed there the longest and love Pete Birks' writing, but being
honest. And you left out Alex Richardson's szine, Obsidian, that
I mentioned. But I think Joakim's list is otherwise pretty complete.
I did find there is a site www.postaldiplomacy.co.uk but I'm not
sure if it is up-to-date. I know the Pouch list is not that close
to being up-to-date, since I'm in charge of that and haven't updated
it lately.

You can join the UK Postal Games yahoogroup and ask your question there.
I'm sure one or more of the other members of that group know, but I don't.
You probably should do that anyway, as that is more the group you're
looking for.
