I thought only Turbo OutRun had the sucicide battery?? Currently

Look for a big black chip with a built in box on top. It'll say FD1094 on it. Yes I believe you're correct, only Turbo OR is encrypted. Now, why wait for yours to die? Once it dies the boardset is useless! I fixed mine with a new battery and it was relatively painless. I know I'm good for at least another 10 years now too. I have a series of pics I took as I did the job. I intended to do a pictorial on my web page one day.... eventually Email me if you wanna change your battery and I'll send you the step by step pics.
