I agree with this. I can't say I wasn't at least a bit skeptical about
the set, because of my odd conceptual clinging to not really seeing
how mortals fit in the 'crypt', but I was willing to give WW the
benefit of doubt, because, you know, they pulled off some crazy
stunts as far as rules and cards go, and I can't say I don't like
what they've done so far on this field.
I have to admit that the concept (which I still think was not fit for
VTES) was indeed well designed. I was again a bit skeptical because
of the many new card types used to establish the Imbued, but I really
like how it all makes sense, how they managed to create a completely
different resource management mini-game within VTES. The execution
was masterful.
The concept and the impacts on the game, however, do not currently
seem to be beneficial to me.

Fully agree. I generally dislike when new clans, disciplines, sects,
card types, etc. are introduced into the game. Yet I must say that
the Laibon clans were well designed. So were most of the bloodlines
in the set. I was happy with LoB. I'm an admitted bloodline-freak,
but still, I was really impressed. Less stuff to rant about, but
definitely more quality stuff to play with.
