It looks like Origins Awards now require that candidates be nominated in
some process prior to the actual voting. Looks like WW products (with the
exception of WoW RPG) were not a part of that process. I don't see any way
to write in a vote for any un-nominated game... Sad

Eh, I hate to say it, but I couldn't see voting for Nights of
Reckoning because frankly, it wasn't a very good expansion.
From everything I've seen and experienced so far, I really
don't care for Imbued.

I will give White Wolf credit for trying something different,
trying to come up with fresh, interesting, new mechanics.
But I think the attempt misfired in this case. Conviction
cards are a pain in the ass and I'm afraid the overall
effect of Imbued will be to change the metagame in ways that
aren't terribly good. (More intercept for instance, to stop
Imbued from gaining powers. The one thing the metagame does
NOT need is more intercept in it so we can all sit around
stopping everything each other tries to do.)

I would readily vote for Legacies of Blood. Granted,
it has flaws in its rarity distributions. But I think
the Laibon clans have been a real success and a number of
Bloodlines clans have become much more playable and/or
can be played in more ways.

I agree with this. I can't say I wasn't at least a bit skeptical about
the set, because of my odd conceptual clinging to not really seeing
how mortals fit in the 'crypt', but I was willing to give WW the
benefit of doubt, because, you know, they pulled off some crazy
stunts as far as rules and cards go, and I can't say I don't like
what they've done so far on this field.

I have to admit that the concept (which I still think was not fit for
VTES) was indeed well designed. I was again a bit skeptical because
of the many new card types used to establish the Imbued, but I really
like how it all makes sense, how they managed to create a completely
different resource management mini-game within VTES. The execution
was masterful.

The concept and the impacts on the game, however, do not currently
seem to be beneficial to me.

Fully agree. I generally dislike when new clans, disciplines, sects,
card types, etc. are introduced into the game. Yet I must say that
the Laibon clans were well designed. So were most of the bloodlines
in the set. I was happy with LoB. I'm an admitted bloodline-freak,
but still, I was really impressed. Less stuff to rant about, but
definitely more quality stuff to play with. Wink

Well then go vote for LoB.

I did.

Or have you wasted too much time with peter to have the energy to send GAMA
an email asking them to add LoB to the list?
