I've got two of those ; Blast Corps and 1080.
Blast Corps is a fairly original game. Loads of diversity in the challenges,
so you won't be getting bored with it. The premise of the game is absurd and
much of the game involves smashing stuff up. Other positives are the driving
sections and exploration.
The presentation and visuals aren't quite up to the usual Rare standards,
but the the game engine is solid. If you get stuck on a task there are
others to do, and you can return to the problem task later. Possibly the
highest playable vehicle count in any N64 game, and they're all worth
driving, riding, and jet paking.
Even though the game has game save space on the cart you can save more
detailed stats and more precise save points if you use a memory pak with it.
1080 is quite short, but what's there is excellent, and there's plenty of
replay value. The rumble pak is well utilised, helping you know whether
you're on ice, nice crunchy powder, or just bog standard snow. Very good
visuals too, and if you're like me you'll spend a bit of time dicking about
with the cameras on the intro sequence (yellow buttons IIRC).
I'd hapily play either of these again and I think you'll be pleased with
them. At £2.50 each you can't go wrong. Two really good games to broaden
your collection, and neither take much getting into - a plus when you've
just got 4 games in one go.
