Howdy!!!
Have a really good laptop computer now, (Packard Bell V7814), with a 512 mb
gfx card, so now i want to play Op Flash for real on it (played singleplayer
on the old laptop, choppy gfx and so on..), and that means online if it
exists.....
Any of you know about servers where people still play seriously?, or if they
are invite only, would you please invite me then? ;D.
Hope the serious players still play and that i can become one of them.

if u have only cold war crisis get gamespy (less players, 1.46
required)
if u have or will get resistance goto multiplayer and select sockets
and refresh (more players, 1.96 required).

I'm assuming with your reference to not having a credit card that you
live in the middle of nowhere and were never able to get to a games
shop? How did you buy OFP in the first place?! ;o) I bought Resistance
over the counter for £10 when it came out and the way to go now would be
to buy a copy of OFP: Game of the Year Edition which is at 1.91 at
install I believe and just needs that final patch to get to 1.96. As for
playing OFP online I hardly ever do either, not because I can't but I
just get into single player games too often and enjoy them.
Best thing to do with addon down loads is to create folders in your ofp
directory to group them by type. ie a folder for all the BAS addons, one
for Project UKF etc. For more general stuff I have East and West folders
with subfolders for men, vehicles, aircraft etc. No idea why your 1.46
addons won't work however, it's not like most addons are rocket science.
Do you use separate mod folders in your OFP directory to install them or
did you just put them straight into your root OFP Addons folder? The
game will stop working once too many addons are in the root folder.
Anyway with ArmA hopefully not too far away it's no big deal.

Problem with sound - Just come back to playing OFP Resistance after months away but having a problem with sound. Its OK playing single mission or campaign but in multiplayer the sound becomes so distorted its driving me nuts. I don't remember it being this bad in the past.... |
