Post subject: OpenGl linux version problem
Archived from groups: alt>games>wolfenstein (more info?)

I have the weirdest thing going on with Return to Castle wolfenstein
It is version 1.4, the lastest.
The problem I am having is that some of the lighting isn't working.
It worked before, but now certain light effects are solid instead
of being semi transparent.

Look at the second screenshot and notice the light through the fog.

I have screen shots from my game to show what I am seeing.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Make sure u are using latest drivers or try some older if u using current
available. Also the latest update for RTCW is afaik 1.4.1 not 1.4 so u
must install 1.4-full and 1.4.1-update or 1.33-full and 1.4.1 update also
GOTY mappack is recomended for online gameplay. I hope that will be
helpful in someway to ya.

All u can find here: ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/wolf/linux/
