| Has anyone had a play with open TTD? I must say, it does not seem to have
as much going for it as the patched Transport Tycoon. Thank you to all the
folk doing work on the patches etc., it really has given the game a new
lease of life. Shame about Locomotion.

Agree 100%.

Seconded!

Agree 100%. The biggest possible disappointment from the otherwise
outstanding Mr Chris Sawyer. >> Stay informed about: Open TTD |

Really the patch is just incredible. Its more than just given it a new
lease on life, its now more enjoyable than when it was new, IMHO. And
thats saying a lot about a game that is over 10 years old! That said one
day OTTD will surpass it as it becomes more feature rich than the patch
and the new graphics engine is introduced. However I expect I'll always
play the odd game of ttd patch, it will always have the charm that a
well developed ottd will loose.

Which is OK. But Josef pulled OTTD into the dust compared to his
TTDPatch which was not very nice (And reasonless). >> Stay informed about: Open TTD |

I know that OTTD looks very promising, but TTDPatch is getting features
in much more quickly, like Josef said, and that's why, at least for the
forseeable future, I will still be using TTDPatch.
The shots of the new OTTD graphics engine looks good, but I've been
seeing shots since the beginning of last year, and it gets boring
eventually... >> Stay informed about: Open TTD |
