please insert this disc into a 360 blah blah blah - started getting this error quite a lot recently (had my 360 about a year), i have to power down then power up to get the game going, sometimes the disc will start spinning at the 2nd attempt, sometimes at the 5th or 6th. is my 360 on the way out or is..

Seems like Sony still can't buy a break:

capability [backwards compatibility], along with a few other features,
isn't dramatically reducing Sony's cost of manufacturing the console
but will instead encourage buyers of the entry-level PlayStation 3 to
purchase more games designed specifically for the new system."

Yep, as I've said before the PS2 is a two edged sword for SONY right
now.
